Michael L. Millman, Founding Member, Chairman and CEO

Michael L. Millman is the Founding Member, Chairman and CEO of Affiliated Financial Partners. A 35-year veteran of the life insurance industry, Michael has made a career of working in advanced markets and in mentoring other producers.

Michael has worked with more than seventy public companies and institutions as well as hundreds of closely held businesses in developing supplemental and non-qualified programs. His particular expertise is in corporate and supplemental retirement planning, estate conservation funding, and business continuity funding. Michael's approach is to continually examine all aspects of compliance and tax regulations and to identify and implement the financial vehicles that can be utilized to meet plan objectives.

He founded his own firm, Michael L. Millman, Ltd., in 1994 to design, install and administer insurance plans for senior corporate management teams and high net worth individuals.

Mr. Millman has spoken at the annual meeting of the American Bar Association, the New York, Connecticut and American Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and numerous life insurance companies and industry groups including the Million Dollar Round Table, the Top of the Table, Twenty-Five Million Dollar International Forum, AALU, and the Hemisphere Group.

Mr. Millman is a 1968 graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He has lived in Fairfield, Connecticut with his wife and children since 1975.
